copper washi-wrapped tea lights
Add a twinkle to your guests’ tables with these copper washi-wrapped tea lights! We can’t promise they’ll be more radiant than the bride, but their clean, simple lines will add a touch of sophisticated shine to your modern wedding. Let us tell you how very easy they are to make!
Step 1 |
Measure and cut two strips of washi tape. Each one should be long enough to wrap completely around the outside of the tea light, with a little bit of overlap. |
Step 2 |
Peel the backing from the first strip of washi tape and wrap it around the base of the tea light. Then, peel the backing from the second strip and wrap it above the first, so that the tea light’s sides are completely covered. Use your fingers to press along the washi tape strips to smooth. |
Step 3 |
Repeat these steps to make as many tea lights as you need. Brilliant! Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
