Great for the flower box
I planted artificial flowers in my fence railing planters and I use these rather than floral foam because they don't absorb water, so therefore don't weigh down the railing and thus avoiding railing sagging They work great. I also use these these at the bottom of planters with real plants so I don't need as much soil, and the planters don't weigh as much and are, thus, easier to move.

Fits snuggly into the vase.
Stuffed into a cemetery vase, holds the flowers in the vase without them blowing out.
