Wedding Invitations Made Easy
With wedding stationery such as save-the-date cards and invitations, your guests get the first glimpse of your wedding style. At Michaels, you’ll also find wedding programs and other paper products that can be customized to send just the right message — yours!
Before you shop for your wedding paper, consider these DIY tips.
Keep yourself on track with a wedding planner. Typically save-the-date cards are sent six to eight months before the big event. Wedding invitations should arrive six to eight weeks before the big day. Thank you notes go out three weeks after the ceremony — but it’s never too late to share your gratitude!
Double check but don’t fret. Double check the details before you print your wedding invitations or programs. But don’t let typos get you down; just order extras. (We have plenty to go around.)
Ask a friend or relative with pretty handwriting to help you address the envelopes using one of our hand-lettering pens or markers. Or opt for printed labels using digital calligraphy software for an easy, affordable alternative.
Seal each wedding invitation and thank you note with a sticker or sealing wax. An envelope seal or monogram wax stamper helps you personalize each piece of wedding paper, right down to the outside of the envelope.
