tropical leaf vases
Looking to bring a fresh, modern feel to your wedding décor? Try these simple, sophisticated vases that mix tropical leaves with brushed copper accents. They’re delightfully easy to make – let us show you how!
Step 1 |
See the jute that’s wrapped around the neck of the copper bottle? Peel it all away; you’ll see that there’s some residue underneath. No problem! Use the Un-du® adhesive remover, following the directions on its packaging, to scrape away any remaining adhesive. Wipe away any remaining Un-du® with a cloth or paper towel. |
Step 2 |
Cut one long leaf from the Cymbidium stem and run your hand along its length to give it a slight curve. Place the leaf into your copper bottle. Repeat for a second leaf and add to your bottle. TIP: Repeat for as many bottles as you need for your table(s). |
Step 3 |
Use your floral cutters to snip some of the hanging leaves from the philodendron bush and place them into the tiny, round vases. Super-cute! Repeat to make as many of the smaller arrangements as you’d like. |
Step 4 |
Arrange your collections of tall and short arrangements on each table at your venue. Your guests will be delighted! Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
