Black Isn't Potent Enough
I bought this set at Bulk Barn; I needed black candy coating for Halloween cake pops and the store was all out of the black wafers and I didn't have time to order more. I followed the instructions precisely, tinting the coating by single drops gradually so as to not use too much. It took more than half the bottle to colour 100 grams of candy melt black, which covered about 6 cake pops. It creates a beautiful, lustrous black colour, but I wouldn't say it's worth the price. The amount of dye I had to use ended up costing more than the candy I was tinting, and I ran out way before I was done the project.

Opened purple and poured into white chocolate. Sort of a pinky purple. Made gum paste roses to match. Needed more chocolate, added more from same bottle to chocolate, blue purple! WHAT THE HECK!! I had to add some of the pink to even get close to the original color! Not cool! >:(

I was so excited when my
I was so excited when my husband told me he found these colors. I had used the primary coloring before with wonderful results. I wanted the purple in this to darken the lilac melts to match our school colors better. My daughter took one bite and spit it back out, seems the coloring really affected the taste of the chocolate. It tasted like bitter red or black frosting. I have not tried the other colors in this package, but the purple was not good.
